A SERVANT OF THE LORD MUST NOT STRIVE

How mature are you spiritually?  Do you complain, strive, argue, worry, get angry, lust after other people, lie about people, walk in pride or have a negative attitude on most things on a regular basis?  If you do then you are still needing some additional spiritual maturity and need to be healed from your past soul wounds so that you can truly forgive those who have hurt you in your past and then command your demons to go.  People who are hard to get along with will have all been hurt and wounded when they grew up and will hear thoughts from their demons which cause them to strive with other people.  They will take an offense frequently over nothing and offend people badly all day long and expect others to take it.  They are impure.  They are not loving and kind. 2 Timothy 2:22-26 NKJV 22 Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 23 But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. 24 And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient, 25 in humility correcting those who are in opposition, if God…

Thanksgiving Peace or Strife?

With the Thanksgiving holiday season coming upon us in America, many people are looking forward to what the holiday truly represents in thanking the Lord for family, blessings and lots of food, but at the same time are dreading having to see certain relatives. What people want more than anything is to live in peace

So many people that I have met during my lifetime who work their entire lives in order to make as much money as they can so they can buy things that take them farther away from true peace in the Lord.  I should know because I used to be one of them.  I grew up on a farm west of Fort Wayne, IN that was located just west of a small town called Columbia City.  I often had to wear "hand-me-downs" of clothing from my two older brothers, or patched up jeans, because we simply did not have any extra money.  We lived in an old 100+ year old farm house that sat atop a hill overlooking highway US 30 which stretched from SE of Chicago across the state towards Ohio. I got a job as soon as I could drive when I was in high school.  I was in 4H and had the grand champion barrow (male pig) and sold it for about $1,500 to the local Kroger grocery store in Columbia City.  I went into the manager of that store to thank him for purchasing my pig and then asked him for a job. He hired me on…
